If you are in any way aggrieved by the service or product bought from Amazon, in that case you  should first of all approach the seller i.e. Amazon for the faulty good or services provided to you. You should contact the Customer Care Service and complain them about the damage done to you by purchasing their faulty product. Then you must wait for their actions, if there is no action taken by them then you must follow up for knowing the  status of your complaint. 

 

Despite constant reminders if the seller is not responding properly or not responding at all or not taking any actions to resolve your issue then you must approach  Consumer Forum which has the jurisdiction to deal with your case and report them about your grievance (Online complaint at https://consumerhelpline.gov.in). It is also known as District Forum, which can be approached by a person if the person is aggrieved by the goods bought or service rendered.

 

If you are aggrieved by the goods and services bought from the Amazon then you can approach any of the consumer protection lawyer to discuss in detail regarding the issue and the rights that are available to you. The consumer protection lawyer can explain in detail about the remedies for issues that are faced by you. With regards to drafting the complaint, it must state:

1. Important facts to establish that some harm has been caused due to such faulty service or goods.
2. Name, description and address of the consumer and the company/ person against whom the complaint is filed. 
3. The relief/compensation claimed.

 

Copies of relevant documents that support your case in consumer court are important. These documents include:

1. A copy of the bill of the goods bought.
2. Warranty/ Guarantee certificates.
3. A copy of the written complaint and notice sent to the manufacturer/ seller. 

 

Commerce and Industry minister Nirmala Sitharaman also initiated a step towards this problem by stating that “on the lines of the 'Twitter Seva' of the ministry, there is now going to be grievance redressal akin to the (hashtag) ‘#mociseva' (http://mociseva.blogspot.com/)  which will have the consumer affairs people on board.” The minister said that people can raise their issues and the ministry's team along with officials of the consumer affairs ministry would respond to those complaints.
